Guide to Ordering Thespian Regalia
Troupe directors: It’s nearly spring again – and time to order Thespian regalia for your graduates and new Thespian inductees! As you plan for induction ceremonies and graduations, here are tips to make sure you have a smooth and successful ordering experience.
Tip 1: Order early.
If you’ve ordered regalia in the past, you may be used to the rush service for last-minute orders. Thespian honor and spirit items are now sold and shipped through our merchandise partner, Centricity.
That means fulfillment times and costs may be a little different than you’re used to. Centricity processes orders within two business days, and offers a variety of shipping options via UPS, including free standard shipping for orders over $50 (saving you the regular $12.99 rate) and expedited services for an extra fee. To minimize your cost (and anxiety!), we recommend ordering two to three weeks before you need the items to arrive.
Tip 2: Check out the new product selection.
Because Centricity sells merchandise for many associations and organizations, our partnership provides EdTA access to items we couldn’t source affordably or at all on our own. As a result, we’ve recently added a variety of exciting new apparel and lifestyle products for Thespians and educators you probably haven’t seen before.
Check out the selection to see what appeals to you — if your honor items don’t meet the $50 free shipping threshold, add some spirit items to your order to save the shipping costs.
In transitioning merchandise sales to Centricity, we’re continuing to add honor items into inventory. Keep checking the store to see what’s available.
If you can’t find an item in the store by May 31st, that means it’s no longer available to purchase. We have discontinued a number of products that didn’t sell well enough to cover the inventory and fulfillment costs. If we no longer offer an item you were looking for, we hope you’ll find other items to like among the new product lines. You can also fill out the Store Feedback survey to offer a product suggestion.
Tip 3: Contact the right vendor.
It’s important to know which vendor is handling which products and services, so you know whom to contact with questions about your order:
- Thespian, Junior Thespian, and Honorary Thespian inductions are processed through your EdTA membership account. Direct questions to the EdTA membership team at members@schooltheatre.org or (513) 421-3900, ext. 1 weekdays 8:30 am.-5 p.m. ET.
- Merchandise purchases, including honor and spirit items, are made through Centricity. Direct questions to edtainventory@centricitynow.com or (888) 557-8761 weekdays
9 a.m. - 6 p.m. ET. - Trophies, plaques, and awards are sold through the EdTA trophy store by Trophy Awards. Make inquiries through the trophy store contact form.
Each type of product or service is ordered separately, so all payments, invoices, and POs are handled directly through each vendor. EdTA’s membership team cannot assist with orders and payments of merchandise, as we don’t have access to those systems.

Tip 4: Know what to expect.
You’ve inducted your new Thespians and have picked out your honor items and awards for your inductees and graduates. Now you’re ready to order. What do you need to know?
When ordering from Centricity’s Thespian Shop, you’ll be able to use the same login as your EdTA membership account — no separate username and password to remember. (The trophy store does still require a separate login.)
Be aware your orders from each vendor will always ship separately and incur separate shipping charges where applicable (don’t forget to plan ahead to get that free standard shipping on $50 orders). Your membership materials, store items, and trophies will arrive according to each vendor’s timelines. But if you plan ahead (see tip 1), you’ll receive all your items in time to make this year’s induction ceremonies and graduations as memorable as ever.
